The Kiswah is a black brocade cloth that covers the Ka’bah, which is the most sacred shrine in Islam. Every year a new Kiswah is made in Egypt and carried to Mecca by pilgrims. The Shahadah (profession of faith) is embroidered in gold on the Kiswah as well as a gold band of ornamental calligraphy carrying verses from the Quran. SubhanAllah 🤲🏽
