This piece is deeply personal — a visual prayer for the land of Palestine, its people, and their enduring spirit.
At the center blooms a red poppy: vibrant, tender, unshaken. For me, it holds the beauty and grief of a people rooted in their land — a quiet symbol of remembrance and strength.
Surrounding it, olive leaves stretch outward — steady, ancient, and unwavering. They remind me of Palestine’s deep roots, of peace held close even in struggle.
The Palestinian flag rises boldly behind it all — not just as a symbol of resistance, but of belonging.
At the base, I’ve painted a golden key — delicate, but full of weight. It carries stories of return, of memory, of doors still waiting to open.
The background shifts between blues and golds, like light through stained glass — a moment of hope rising through sorrow.
“Testament of Resilience” is my way of honoring the truth, pain, and unshakeable love of the Palestinian people.
I hope it speaks to your heart the way it spoke through mine.
Mixed media on 20" hexagon canvas.
